Thailand (Siam) was among the first 48 countries to endorse the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in on the 10 December 1948 in the Palais de Chaillot in Paris.
We believed in human rights. The right to travel, the right of be with the people we choose and love, the right to have our own thoughts, the right to be respected.
Here are few articles of the “Universal Declaration of Humanly Rights”.
Article 13
1. Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the
borders of each State.
2. Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and to
return to his country.
That is why people feel free to travel, go on holidays.
Article 26
3. Parents have a prior right to choose the kind of education that shall be
given to their children.
Because of this right, people decide to study at home and felt free, entitle to do so.
Article 11
1. Everyone charged with a penal offence has the right to be presumed
innocent until proved guilty according to law in a public trial at which he
has had all the guarantees necessary for his defence.
That right is often not respected and many people are told “You are guilty, you are wrong, you did wrong” without any trial, without any proof, without a judge listening to them. Actualy no one listen.
